2.2 All products are offered subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a refund or suitable alternative.

2.3 All measurements are approximate and provided as a guide only.

2.4 We make every reasonable effort to display products accurately. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device and screen settings.

2.5 Some products are handmade or made in small batches. As a result, slight variations in finish, colour, pattern or size may occur. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

3. Prices & Taxes

3.1 All base prices on our website are set in Pounds Sterling (GBP). For customer convenience, we may display prices and accept payment in other currencies. Where this option is available, currency conversion is provided by your payment provider or our website platform and is indicative only.

3.2 Prince & Princess Petwear (trading as Clothes for Cats) is currently not VAT registered, therefore VAT is not charged.

3.3 Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and are not included in product prices unless stated otherwise.

3.4 For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, you may be liable for local import duties, taxes or customs charges. These are the responsibility of the customer and we have no control over them.

3.5 If we discover an error in the price of any product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.

3.6 Prices and promotions may change at any time, but any confirmed orders will not be affected.

4. Payment

4.1 We accept payment by major debit and credit cards and other payment methods made available at checkout, including PayPal.

4.2 Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

4.3 All payments are processed in Pounds Sterling (GBP). If you are paying from outside the UK, your bank or payment provider may apply a currency conversion fee.

5. Delivery

5.1 We aim to dispatch orders within 5 working days of receiving payment. Orders containing personalised or made-to-order items may take longer. Estimated dispatch times will be shown on the relevant product pages or confirmed by email.

5.2 Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs processing, weather conditions, strikes or events beyond our reasonable control.

5.3 Free standard delivery is available on orders over £40 GBP to UK Mainland addresses only, unless stated otherwise.

5.4 Delivery charges for orders under £40 GBP, and for destinations outside the UK, will be shown at checkout.

5.5 We may use a range of delivery services, including tracked and untracked options. Where you select an untracked delivery service, you accept the increased risk of non-delivery.

5.6 Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you when the goods are physically delivered to the address you provided.

5.7 If an order is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, or due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by you, we reserve the right to charge for any additional delivery costs before re-dispatching or to deduct those costs from any refund.

5.8 If a parcel is delayed or lost, we will investigate with the carrier in line with their claims process before offering a replacement or refund.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

6.1 You have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your goods, without giving any reason.

6.2 To cancel, you must notify us clearly by email or post within the cancellation period. You must then return the goods to us without undue delay.

6.3 We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

6.4 You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods unless the item is faulty or we have sent you the wrong item.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

7.1 Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.

7.2 We may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

7.3 Personalised or custom-made products (including items altered to your specifications, such as custom sizing or fitting services) are non-refundable unless they are faulty.

7.4 For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of items that have been worn by a pet, soiled, or contaminated with hair, odour or dirt, unless the item is faulty.

7.5 If an item is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs where possible. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including reasonable return postage costs.

7.6 If we have sent you the wrong item, we will reimburse reasonable return postage costs and send a replacement or issue a refund.

7.7 If an exchanged item is no longer available, we will offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.

8. International Orders & Customs

8.1 For deliveries outside the UK, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges.

8.2 If an order is refused by customs or returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct original delivery and return shipping costs from any refund issued.

9. Formation of Contract

9.1 Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods from us.

9.2 A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation.

11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit, business, revenue or goodwill

  • Indirect or consequential losses

11.3 Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.

13.2 Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect, use and store your personal information and your rights under data protection law.

14. Force Majeure

14.1 We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, supplier failure, transport disruption, strikes, or government action.

15. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

15.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us using the details in Section 1 and we will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
